Homework Help For All Students

From Math to College Homework - We Can Help!

We can’t perform miracles, but we can make sure your student completes most of their homework, works on projects, and studies for tests.

Known as “Homework Club”, we designed this after-school program to for students who can do some work independently, but need help to get started, stay on task, or understand material.

We can tackle any subject and grade level - bring it all to us!

How Group Homework Sessions Work

Group Homework Sessions can be scheduled Monday through Friday in one-hour slots from 2:30 - 7:00 p.m.

Groups can be formed with siblings and friends, or let us know if you would like to join an already formed group. We cannot guarantee times if you are joining a group.

We try to group students in similar grade levels together, but it’s not always possible. We find that no matter the age, students love being able to engage with one another and that it makes homework more fun!

These small group sessions can include up to four students with one learning coach. Sessions are “study hall” style where learning coaches walk around to help answer questions and tutor as needed.

Many students see us twice a week, but you may sign your student up for as many sessions as you would like.

Please note that we cannot guarantee specific learning coaches. If you prefer a specific coach, please book a one-on-one tutoring session.

Group Sessions are best for students who need a little extra help to master the material, learn study skills, and get homework done. If your student needs tailored help, check out one-on-one tutoring.

During Group Sessions Your Student Will

When you pick them up their work will be complete (or mostly complete!) and as a family you get to decide how you spend your time!

A learning coach provides homework help during a group session of Homework Club.

We’re giving you time back in your life and a more confident student.

What You Can Expect During Group Homework Sessions

  1. At the first session, parents will complete forms (if they haven’t been completed already).

  2. Students get comfortable (this might include finding a snack!) and check-in with their learning coach and each other.

  3. Students bring assignments from school and begin working through them. If they have a question or need help, the learning coach is there to offer one-on-one support.

  4. Learning coaches teach relevant concepts to the group or lead group discussion as needed.

  5. When students complete daily assignments, they work with their learning coach on math and reading skills or study for tests/quizzes.

  6. The learning coach challenges students to work on building a skill before their next session and offers them study/organizational guidance.

  7. Students get to choose a prize/reward if certain milestones are met.

  8. Learning coach provides parent with a brief report of how session went.

Parents Can’t Do It All

Between work, kids’ activities, grocery shopping, keeping up with your house and EVERYTHING else, it’s hard to sit down in the evenings and help your student (or students) complete their homework.

Especially if that student doesn’t want to. You can’t do it all. If you’re tired of homework fights and hurt feelings and are struggling to figure out how to help your student be more successful in school, we are here for you.

What Our Students Are Saying…

  • “I do Homework Club. It's really fun because you don't just go into a room and do it by yourself. You actually have help. I wasn't very good in math before, but I am getting better in math now. And if you're good, you can earn points for prizes like Squishmellows, candy, and other toys.”

  • “I'm not the best at math, but I go to Homework Club. We do homework and if you're confused about things a bunch of trainers will help you. If you're at home and your parents might not know, it's a good thing being at Homework Club because the trainers will probably know it.”
